This spring has been such a busy time for us at Rise, we’re having to announce site launches back to back! Such is the case with the launch of PassingWord.com which launched on April 28, 2011.
It is rare that we come across a project like PassingWord. The purpose of PassingWord is to assist families who have suffered the loss of a loved one by providing a vehicle for quickly and accurately notifying family and friends through the use of an eBituary. Once the eBituary is composed it can be forwarded onto a select few or everyone in an email account contact list.
PassingWord creator Andrew Barker had this to say about the project, “I realized, after losing a very close individual in my life, a need for a product to assist families in better dealing with such a difficult event . This project amounted to a two year old dream that just needed the right group to take it to the next level. And without a doubt, Rise was that group. They understood the complexity and the sensitivity that was involved with the site and knew exactly how to tackle it. Rise had my trust from the onset. PassingWord.com is a great looking site, I couldn’t be any happier with it. Rise, thank you for your dedication and hard work!”
