Rise is seeking a Programmer/Back-End Developer on a contract / fulltime / part time basis to complete a growing team of designers, developers, and account executives. The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years of experience, be highly disciplined, detailed oriented and process driven, with a hungry attitude toward learning and problem-solving. When hired, this person would be responsible for custom programming and CMS structuring and management, specifically Drupal. This person would also do a great deal of estimation to accurately plan build phases.
Responsibilities:
- Create custom architectures for websites and web applications
- Install Drupal CMS and customize as needed using existing modules or creating custom modules
- Meet with Account Executives and Production Manager to estimate build times and review strategies for envisioned applications
- Stay current on platforms and industry changes
- Work smart and hard
Qualifications:
- PHP5 (Object Oriented)
- LAMP (Linux, Apache, PHP, MySQL 5)
- Version Control (git)
- CMS Experience (Drupal)
- MVC-based application frameworks (Cake, CodeIgniter)
- Clean, maintainable and well documented code
- Execute flawless XHTML/HTML5 and CSS for front end development projects. This includes the ability to slice up a graphic file for image exporting for the website build
- Javascript/AJAX mastery
- Mobile application development a plus (iOS, Android)
